Επαρχία Λευκωσίας

Η επαρχία Λευκωσίας είναι μια από τις 6 επαρχίες της Κύπρου. Γεωγραφικά βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της χώρας, και είναι η μοναδική επαρχία που συνορεύει με όλες τις υπόλοιπες: νοτιοδυτικά με την επαρχία Πάφου, νότια με την επαρχία Λεμεσού, νοτιοανατολικά με την επαρχία Λάρνακας, ανατολικά με την επαρχία Αμμόχωστου και βόρεια με την επαρχία Κερύνειας. Τμήμα της βρίσκεται στα κατεχόμενα. Πρωτεύουσα της επαρχίας είναι η Λευκωσία.

Η επαρχία Λευκωσίας είναι η δεύτερη σε σειρά με τα περισσότερα χωριά σε σύγκριση με τις υπόλοιπες επαρχίες, αφού συνολικά ανέρχονται στον αριθμό των 54 χωριών!
